Thailand Factory Smart Energy Metering and Safety Assurance EMS System Project

Mar 16, 2026

Project Background

Guanghe Technology is a company specializing in high-end PCB manufacturing. Its Thai factory is located in the Kim Chit Industrial Park in Prachinburi Province, Thailand.

It officially started in early 2023. The project covers an area of 160 acres, with a total construction area of 160,000 square meters and a total investment of approximately US$180 million.

Power distribution structure

The project site has one 10kV high-voltage distribution room and two 0.4kV low-voltage distribution rooms. Power distribution in the workshop uses busbar trunking. The site uses over 20 AM3 series protective relays,

over 250 AMC series multi-function meters, and over 700 busbar temperature monitoring devices. An EMS enterprise microgrid management platform is also configured to monitor the plant's power supply, energy consumption, and power distribution safety.

Project Benefits

1.Enhance the reliability of power supply
2.Optimize operation and maintenance efficiency
Management staff can remotely monitor equipment operating status in real time, reducing the need for on-site inspections. Through fault recording and data analysis, issues can be quickly identified and located, effectively shortening the fault handling cycle.
3.Enhance safety monitoring and control
In the event of abnormal conditions such as overvoltage or overcurrent in the distribution room, the system can issue an immediate alarm and record the whole process. Cooperating with the rapid response of relay protection devices, it effectively avoids equipment damage and reduces potential safety incidents.
