Project Background
Located in the commercial heart of Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand, Sun Tower comprises the 41-story Tower A and the 33-story Tower B. Its modern, minimalist design has become a regional landmark, offering over 62,000 square meters of rentable office and commercial space. Equipped with conference rooms, a fitness center, and a helipad, the tower also houses commercial facilities such as a bank and a restaurant on the ground floor and podium. This project involves retrofitting all retail and office floors in the 41-story Tower A and the 33-story Tower B with a cloud-based solution. This allows the client to remotely monitor power load on the office floors, power consumption on retail floors, and detect fault alarms based on power parameters, providing a data basis for the client's reliable, secure, and economical operation of the power supply system.

Customer needs
Towers A and B have a total of 75 floors, each with four power distribution rooms. A wireless solution is required to upload energy consumption data for each circuit to a cloud platform. Specific monitoring requirements include:
1. Power load and power consumption monitoring.
2. Real-time fault alarms for power parameters.
3. Remote meter reading to reduce reading workload and improve real-time performance and accuracy.
4. Compare and analyze power consumption of high-energy-consuming equipment.

Solution
To achieve real-time power usage monitoring, prompt fault alarms, and remote energy consumption monitoring, this project plans to connect the following devices:
1. Over 535 Acrel multi-function power meters
2. Over 200 Acrel gateways
