Project Overview

French systems integrator Brio Energy has a predictive maintenance project that plans to preventatively maintain and optimize the energy efficiency of lighting, ventilation, fryers, ovens, and other loads at approximately 300 Burger King restaurants around Paris, France.

Project Requirements

Currently, each Burger King store only has a master meter for incoming power, making it impossible to perform individual metering for each device.

1.The number of devices requiring monitoring is large, and the size of the upgraded distribution box is relatively small.
2.The distance between different circuits is considerable (6-8 meters). Some load currents are very small, with a minimum of 0.02A. Predictive maintenance requires basic harmonic monitoring functionality.

Project Results

1. Products have already been purchased in bulk and used in 40 stores.

2. It is expected that more than 50 stores will be renovated each year thereafter, and plans are in place to work with clients to promote this solution to other restaurants such as McDonald's and KFC.
