Project Overview
The company is one of the world's largest professional manufacturers of high-efficiency solar cells. It has built three new power distribution rooms with a requested power supply capacity of 91,250 kVA.

Customer needs
1. Enables centralized remote monitoring and fault alarming of 10kV/0.4kV distribution rooms, transformers, and protection equipment, reducing the workload of manual maintenance;
2. Provides unified data collection and access for thousands of distribution circuits, transformers, and other equipment within the substation;
4. Distribution operation data can be uploaded externally and integrated with the park's smart management platform.
Acrel solution
Acrel provided a complete hardware and software solution for this project, including a 10kV/0.4kV power monitoring system, DC power supply monitoring, transformer temperature controller monitoring, and protective relays.
Details include:
881 intelligent meters, 30 transformer temperature controllers;
6 intelligent communication management units;
56 microcomputer protection devices;
3 DC power supply units;

Project Results
1. Establish a centralized monitoring platform for the power distribution room, integrating data from high and low voltage power distribution, transformers, and relay protection equipment for unified management and control. This enables timely fault alarms and reduces manpower required for maintenance and inspection.
2. Utilize a communication management unit to integrate all equipment data, providing full visibility of the power distribution status.
3. The system features a bilingual interface, adaptable to different maintenance personnel.
4. Power distribution data can be connected to the smart park platform.
